MMTA MAE Festival

All Overture Music Lessons students at or above Level 1 will be prepared for and encouraged to participate in the Massachusetts Music Teachers Association Musical Achievement Evaluation Festival on April 22nd, 2018.

Your child will have a 20-minute time scheduled with a qualified Evaluator where they will perform two prepared pieces and receive feedback and suggestions for performing their pieces. Think of it like a mini-masterclass: part opportunity to perform, part lesson.

This is a great chance for your child to prepare for a performance goal and is a good introduction to music festivals and judged competitions. Your OML teacher will be on site in Littleton, MA from 12-5pm and available to assist students, however all students should come and stay with a parent or guardian during the event.

There is a $30 fee for participation in this event. Students will receive an evaluation form from their judge and a special Overture Music Lesson Award at the June recital.

Learn more about the event HERE.
